"Personally, I try to impart to my kids a love of history. I still love reading about history. Professionally, the rigor of the curriculum helped prepare me for law school and beyond. Having great professors showed me how I wanted to teach."
What advice would you give students in Duke's History programs?
"Study anything that interests you, not just what you think might benefit you in your future career. Be curious."
