Humphreys wins George Rosen Prize

Humphreys book Marrow of Tragedy: The Health Crisis of the American Civil War  (Hopkins, 2013) has been awarded the George Rosen Prize from the American Association of the History of Medicine.

This is the book's second accolade. Last year, Marrow was a finalist for the Gilder Lehrman Lincoln Prize!
