How has being a History graduate from Duke helped shape your professional success?

"Critical thinking, writing skills, ability to synthesize a large amount of information, curiosity"

What advice would you give students in History?

"Study what you love and what you find interesting and supplement your coursework with the courses, certificates or skills to make you marketable in your desired industry. A Duke education is world class and you can’t easily make up for liberal arts education. I learned about business via internships and summer programs that prepared me for a career on Wall Street and competitive candidacy for a top MBA program."
