• Sumathi Ramaswamy on the tradition of non-violence
• John French on political violence in recent Brazilian history
• Jehangir Malegam on the deep history of political violence & martyrdom
• Adriane Lentz-Smith on political violence as attack on civil rights

The Duke History Union will moderate a Q&A period following brief presentations from each speaker.
