Lloyd Kramer is a longtime board member of the Triangle Intellectual History Seminar, and an expert in the intellectual, cultural, and political history of Europe and the United States since the Enlightenment. He is a Professor of History at UNC-Chapel Hill, and Director of Carolina Public Humanities. He is the author, most recently, of Nationalism in Europe and America: Politics, Cultures, and Identities Since 1775 (UNC Press, 2011).
