Elrod Wins Fulbright Research Grant

Ashley Elrod was awarded a Fulbright research grant and as well as a research fellowship from the German Academic Exchange Service (Deutscher Akademischer Austausch Dienst, or DAAD) for 2013-2014. She has accepted the DAAD grant. Ashley studies gender, work, and the household in post-Reformation Germany. Her research uses sermons, popular print culture, and court records to investigate how the religious and economic dislocations of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries affected power and work relations within the family household.
