Ancient Sex Ed

Ancient medicine course that focuses on sexual and reproductive health. We will learn how ancient Greek and Roman medical writers understood the mechanics and science behind sex and compare their medical texts to ancient cultural and literary representations of women and men. Discussion will include how ancient Greek and Roman notions of bodies and sex have influenced modern ideas.
