Duke History: The Write Stuff!

The Department of History invites you to a celebration of faculty-authored books!  It’s been many years since we last recognized the impressive array of work by our colleagues.  Academic publishing can feel like a lonely and underappreciated endeavor but, if you’re reading this, you may be well aware of the monumental challenges- professional and personal- such a project can present, as well as the pride, satisfaction, and relief of contributing something of value to the intellectual community at large.  Please join us in shining a well-deserved light on these far-reaching, fascinating, and unique volumes of research.  We will be recognizing books, released since 2019, that have been produced by regular rank, secondary, and emeritus members of the History Department faculty.  Please RSVP by Sunday, November 9.
