Introducing the 2025-26 theme: “Democracy.”  This first session will have no guest. It will instead present an opportunity to do some joint readings and think together about “democracy”: what was it, and what is it? What exactly is in crisis, just now: is it democracy, or is it liberalism, and how do those two things relate?
