Prof. John French will be the department's first presenter for the 2019-2020 Colloquium Series. He will be speaking from his new book, forthcoming from UNC Press in the fall of 2020 as "Lula's Politics of Cunning: From Trade Unionism to the Brazilian Presidency and Beyond."
