- History Department & Duke University community members who wish to propose speakers or events should submit requests via this online form. Those requests should include a brief (no more than one paragraph) description of the event and the budget. Events should clearly relate to historical issues, with preference given to proposals endorsed by a history department member.
- Requests will be reviewed on a rolling basis. The Chair of the History Hub Committee may ask for additional information if needed.
- Each academic year, the committee will aim to allocate $200-500 per approved event, though amounts may vary based on event significance, budget, and other factors.
